Meet The Models: J.D.
J.D. and I met virtually on Instagram and in Chicago while I was in town for an event in March 2022. As you will read he was a bit nervous thankfully the first shoot was a success and he wanted to shoot again!
I say this about all of my models it seems like but J.D. really is a natural in front of the camera! During our second shoot we branched out from Kapow Meggings and also shot in some N2N Bodywear, Justin + Simon, and 2the9sla gear. I hope we can get together again somewhere when the weather is warm!

WHAT IS YOUR STORY? Oh, how I hate this question… I’m not very good at talking about myself, but I think my story is that of a jack of all trades who has been fortunate enough to find himself at the right places at the right time. I think, in life, we can set goals and ambitions, but also stay open to whatever comes our way. I’m a traveler & outdoorsman, a yogi & a runner. My newest endeavor would be becoming an amateur triathlete. My biggest weakness is an adorable puppy! I will not stop to pet one! Oh, and beautiful boys with beautiful bulges in tight clothing.
BOXERS OR BRIEFS? Why isn’t jockstrap an option here?? Briefs if I must be modest.
WHEN DO YOU FEEL MOST CONFIDENT? Right after a workout where I’ve sweat my face off & set a new PR!
WHAT DO YOU HOPE YOUR NEXT GREAT ACHIEVEMENT WILL BE? I’ve got my eye on some exciting races for next year. But in the short term, I hope to beat my time from last year's Chicago Triathlon.
WHAT IS THE BRAVEST THING YOU’VE DONE? If you ask my parents, it’s moving to Chicago. Personally, I think waterfall cliff diving & zip-lining upside down through the forests in Hawaii takes the cake!
SPEAKING OF BRAVERY... WHAT WAS IT LIKE BEING IN A SINGLET FOR THE FIRST TIME *AND* BEING IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA WITH IT ON? Oh jeez, it was… weird. Not only was it my first time being in a singlet, it was also my first time “modeling” in anything less than my normal gym gear. The strategy though was to start with the thing that would probably make me the most uncomfortable in Dustin’s collection to get the initial shock out of the way & go from there. Diving in feet first and all that. Now I’m pretty comfortable in anything!
WHAT IS AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE YOU’VE BEEN A PART OF? I’ve had a few unforgettable experiences in my life. I’m a huge astronomy lover. I’ve seen several eclipses & seen the northern lights while flying over Anchorage at night, but I think stargazing in Yosemite Valley and seeing the entire arm of the milky way clear as glass will forever be imprinted in my mind’s eye. So beautiful & humbling.
HOW DO YOU FEEL IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA? Pretty comfortable, still trying to figure out what to do with my arms though.
WHICH MALE CELEBRITY WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO SEE IN A PAIR OF KAPOW MEGGINGS? Hmmmmm it’s a tie between Taron Egerton & Aaron Taylor Johnson… perhaps at the same time!
